As we know it, our universe began 13.8 billion years ago, when the Big Bang sent billions of sub-atomic particles into violent motion, colliding and combining, to create everything. An origin story of destruction and chaos, creating life and beauty, yet destined for inevitable destruction. In about 5 billion years, our sun will begin to expand and eventually destroy our planet and solar system, expelling its elements back into space. A seemingly tragic end, but perhaps a new beginning.
